It featured a pantry with a screened opening to the basement (for cool air year round) and a vent high on the outside wall to the outdoors. The sheepskin rug in the kitchen (real, I'm sure) is similar to one I loved to nap on as a young child. I also love the white painted woodwork. I assume the loo has the signiture '2-button' flush. I recall the typical shower in NZ (motels atleast) was a curtain'd off area in the bathroom sharing a common dtrain. Makes cleaning the bathroom a matter of hosing it down.
