My Christmas Vacation

For my Christmas Vacation, I went for a drive around South Island. A loooong drive around South Island. It was such a long drive, Anna and I brought her parents along to entertain us.

Such a long drive, in fact, that the first attempt at a travelogue blog post quickly ballooned into the great American novel.

So, while I’m out back binding the advance copies and mailing them to you, my three faithful readers, here are some entertaining pictures.

    If I’m reading the scale right, that’s one heckuva huge bottle brush tree… and Anna’s gone native with gaiters in the summer. Also looking forward to the novel.
