The Nibbler
On a friend’s recommendation, we recently impulse purchased a Nuby Nibbler. I can’t even type it without feeling like a cutesy-wutesy dolt.
Despite that, the Nibbler is easily the best mesh-bag-on-a-technicolor-handle-feeding-toy I’ve come across. Just load that bad boy up with chunks of your defeated enemies (or fruit) and let the grizzly bear loose.

Ah yes, we have one of those for Simon too. A little more low-tech…I think it is called the Spoon? I guess we could “upgrade” it by stapling an old sock to the round end…

New Zealand had “spoons,” once, brought with the original settlers from their homelands. But as interest and domestic production faded, they’re now just a vague memory.

The answer is actually shown in the picture posted tomorrow (7/03) on Sprouticus: Spoons, once common in Nzed, were overgrazed by a voracious invasive specie, known locally as the pudgy Van de Graf’s.
