A Series of Unfortunate Events

  1. Big earthquake in the Southland. Anna felt it, but I didn’t.
  2. Em discovered the joy of playing. With her parents. In the middle of the night. Her favorite new game is screaming contest.
  3. As such, we’re leaving for a transpacific flight in a few hours with about six hours of sleep between us.

    Cat, schmat. More probably she heard all y’all talking about flying to Uhmuhrika and 1. she had no idea where that was or if they even have rice paddles there and 2. proud as she is of her recent locomotion efforts she knows she can’t fly (yet), and so naturally she was anxious.
