Fun in the sun
Apologies for the sparsity of the blog posts. We’ve been out doing vacation, so not a lot of time to chat about it.
We’re in Albuquerque, our final stop, for the Ecological Society of America 2009 annual meeting. Anna is doing business during the day, while we hang out by the pool and enjoy all ABQ has to offer (not much), and mostly just avoid the mean old sun.

Thank you, air conditioning.

well I hope you’re introducing the little lady to burritos and margaritas!

My suggestion? Go to the Frontier restaraunt (near the university) for green chile a la junk food, and then hit the ABQ zoo. If em’s not entertained by the train and the giant chair, you might be. The tram ride up Sandia Peak is kinda fun too. And our friends Jennifer and Anurag are there with their little girl, who is approximately the same age as yours, so perhaps you could set up a wrangle.

We’ve certainly discovered Frontier, much to the detriment of our arteries and waistline. We’re also now grandparent-enabled, so Em has three people to entertain her and each other. And we’re getting down to the last couple of days…
