Note To Future Self

It has recently come to my attention that girls like to do things with their hair. This comes as a surprise to me.

Nevertheless, in the spirit of modern parenting, I thought I’d give these so-called “hair accessories” a try.

There. That should do.

We’ve been meaning  to – oops, that’s hot- post on the bean sprout’s   – gentle with the computer screen - progress. But – let’s find something else to play with, sweet pea – we seem to be a bit busier of late.

She’s become a regular mountaineer the last few weeks; pulling up on everything within arms reach (nostril guards are recommended to those who attempt to stretch out on the floor). Sunday night she started to work her way along horizontal surfaces.

She’s also started to make a ‘vocalization’ that sounds an awful lot like ‘uh – oh’. Given the delight she takes in seeing where things go when she drops them, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was her first word.

I’ll be doing some maintenance to our website over the month of September, so there might be some broken moments coming up.
