Hot Date!
We had a playdate with the Swede this weekend.

I’m glad it was nice-ish outside. Our house isn’t big enough for two nearly-2-year-olds. I’m also glad it’s not possible to retro-actively discover you have twins, as trying to pick both of them up made me feel very, very old (30 squirming kgs? why not!?!)

Later, dude.

I have a question on your shed decor. If you hang your wellies leg-side up, don’t they fill with that wet stuff that comes nearly ceaselessly out of the sky? Are you using them as rainbarrels?

On closer inspection, the wellies look like a Kiwi version of those topsy-turvy vegetable planters. Are those strawberries? Wouldn’t thwart our squirrels and raccoons, but good luck!

Yes, those are strawberries planted in the wellies (well, what else do you do with them once they get a small hole half way up the leg?).
Besides, Hugh fearnley-whittingstall told me to.
