Note To Future Self

We booted Anna out of the house to bring us back some money. I mean, go on a business trip. Now the quality dad parenting starts.

It’s been a time of … interesting combinations.

First, a little song and a snack.

Then a little bike maintenance and playing with rings. I think she’s married to Phil Wood now.

And we learned about spices and perfumes.

And top it all off with some noogles and cheese. OK, that’s not a weird combination.

Job done. Time for some “dad juice.”

(yes, it comes in a plastic 2-liter jug. it’s actually pretty darned good.)

Yum.

It’s spring (at last!), and that means the A&P show. We went on a double date with the Swede to the Selwyn district A&P on the weekend.

Eel petting, alpaca judging, junk food and our first encounter with the bouncy castle.

I think there’s a little girl with a birthday coming up….

Hope the grandparents are paying attention!
