Note To Future Self

Pancakes and pukekos in the morning.

Party in the afternoon.

As is to be expected, I was far too busy manning the bar to take any photos at the party.

But we did have a nice after-party.

Happy 3 years, little girl.

In anticipation of a certain non-turkey-themed annual celebration tomorrow, I’ve been working on a pukeko template for the dusting of chocolate-type powders onto frosting-type substrates.

Having no such frosted items around for testing, I’ve created what I believe to be the world’s first pukeko-themed cumin cracker.

I’m not exactly waiting for my call from Kraft.

For a whole bunch of pretty specious reasons, I put up a technical blog a few months ago, just to see if I had anything to say. I don’t really, but it seems like a a good way to separate the wheat (quality family stuff on this blog) from the chaff (whatever the heck I’m supposed to be doing at work).

Assuming this whole academic lifestyle works out, it’s also a good place for me to blah blah blah about how wonderful I am to all my e-stalkers. Like I need any more ego inflation…

I/Aaron have been sick for a couple of weeks (hooray for summer colds!), which has soaked up all the extra time for blogging, enjoying summer, fun, etc.

But things finally seem to be on the mend.

And short pants are on the agenda.
