On closer inspection, the wellies look like a Kiwi version of those topsy-turvy vegetable planters. Are those strawberries? Wouldn’t thwart our squirrels and raccoons, but good luck!

I have a question on your shed decor. If you hang your wellies leg-side up, don’t they fill with that wet stuff that comes nearly ceaselessly out of the sky? Are you using them as rainbarrels?

Nigel is my man! For a Care Committee potluck I made the Chickpeas and Chorizo–except it was Chickpeas and Kielbassa. And I did not have any dried chillies–but the Kielbassa had enough zing to carry the dish. But it was still excellent. I actually made a double recipe and broke it in half after sauteeing the onions and garlic and I put tofu (extra firm) in the other half. I put chili powder and crushed red pepper in the tofu half for some kick. Oh, yeah, and some sun dried tomatoes. It worked. I don’t know where the vegetarian contingent was but the Kielbassa sold better.
